Established in september 1993 by saxophonist
Ryszard Krawczuk - a graduate of the Katowice Academy of Music at the Faculty of Jazz and Light Music . The FdeN introduces a new sound and repertoire - a mixture of jazz standards in contemporary arrangements and original compositions of the band members in jazz and funky stylistics.They recorded two albums: "What? So what !" (feat. Bernard Maseli - one of Europe's greatest vibraphonist) and " J-5 " (feat.Saskia Laroo,Warren Byrd,Steve Logan).
FdeN presentes its art at many International Festivals : Ladies Jazz Festival (Gdynia ,PL),Lotos Jazz Festival (Bielsko-Biała, PL), Jazz on Odra River(Wrocław,PL), Zaduszki Jazzowe (KrakowPL),Silesia Jazz Festival (KatowicePL),Tennis Jazz Festival(Szczecin,PL),Leverkusen Jazz Tage(D),Liburnia Jazz Festival(HR),Lepziger Jazz Days (D), and many others . Also playing many club concerts .
FdeN cooperated with oustanding polish jazz artists:Jarek Smietana,Marek Raduli,Pawel Maciwoda,Bernard Maseli and others.Also playing with forein guests:Chris Titz(tp,D),Saskia Laroo(tp,NL),Bryan Corbett(tp,UK), Warren Byrd(kbs,USA), Steve Logan(bg,USA) and rappers : Stewlocks,MC Vlash , Firestorm.
